Piki was a castrated male, and he was our first pig, brought to us in 2011. He lived in a small, partially collapsed stone cellar under the house on a small farm, with only a small enclosure full of ruins, no sunlight – entirely unsuitable. With us,he was something of a lord of the manor, often receiving the attention of all the ladies. He loved to be petted and would allow it as much as he could.
