Sleipnir was a very mischievous horse who was very resourceful in search of food, even in pockets and gloves where he might find a treat. He was of Icelandic breed, which means he grew very thick fur in the winter, so there was an abundance of it everywhere in the spring, wherever you went. He loved to play with water, splashing with his hooves or with his mouth. He passed away at the age of 14 due to cancer.
