Tomi

Tomi is a Shetland pony, likely born around the year 2013. We don’t know his exact age. He was rescued from an abandoned cellar. He suffered from severe malnutrition and coughed so badly that he sometimes struggled to breathe. He kicked and bit at everything and everyone who came near, even when we only wanted to offer him food or water. His eyes showed panic and fear of everything.
After nearly a year of living with us, we successfully rehabilitated him. There was no trace of malnutrition, aggression, or fear. He integrated well with the herd, calmed down, and learned to trust. He greatly enjoys being petted, brushed, and going for walks. He’s very playful, intelligent, but also quite stubborn.
